We’re recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join an established and well-invested manufacturing operation in Cardiff. This role offers an excellent work–life balance with a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, alongside the opportunity to be part of a supportive and experienced engineering team.

The Role

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you’ll play a key part in supporting the day-to-day operation of the site by carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of manufacturing equipment.

Your responsibilities will include:

· Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across plant and production equipment

· Responding to breakdowns and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime

· Electrical and mechanical fault finding, servicing, and repair

· Supporting installation and improvement of machinery and systems

· Working closely with production and engineering teams

· Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health & safety standards

· Accurately recording work completed using site systems / CMMS

What We’re Looking For

· Background as a Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing, FMCG, food, plant, or production environments

· Multi-skilled, or mechanically or electrically biased

· Confident with both preventative and reactive maintenance

· Practical, hands-on, and comfortable working a shift-based pattern

· Ex-Forces candidates (RAF, REME, Royal Navy, etc.) are very welcome and will be supported with training and upskilling

· Live within a commutable distance of Cardiff
